Education

After finishing primary (lagere school) at Sint-Ludgardis Openluchtschool Brasschaat, I commenced Latin studies at Sint-Michielscollege Brasschaat. After 3 years I switched to Modern Languages for a year, and finished the last two years in Science and Mathematics.

After trying Computer Science at RUCA for two years, I took my chances at Applied IT at Karel de Grote Hogeschool of which I'm currently doing my second year of three.

Occupation

A lot of my time is occupied by being a student at Karel de Grote Hogeschool in Antwerp, where I study Applied Information Technologies. Before that I spent 2 years at RUCA (University of Antwerp) where I attempted Computer Science but failed because of the advanced algebra.

Next to that I try to gain some extra money working in web and application development. For more information on my work check the 'Web' and 'Software' menus.

What little time I have left is spent on partying, playing games, watching movies, and listening to and making music. My favorite games are stealthy/tactical shooters (Call of Duty, Far Cry, Splinter Cell, ...) and, to a lesser extent, racers (Need For Speed: Underground). Favorite game of all time is GTA: Vice City.

My favorite bands are Nirvana, Dave Matthews Band, Metallica, Muse, Iron Maiden, and Faithless (in no particular order). For music making I mainly use a guitar (used to be all-accoustic, but recently got my first electric guitar, a Squier Stratocaster Affinity with a Laney MXD65), although I occasionally attempt to get something nice out of the piano as well.
